The final weekend of OVA tournament action for 13U and 15U is in the books!
Congratulations to 15 Cimpaba for their gold medal finish in Owen Sound. Competing in Trillium Green and going 5-0 on the day, the team capped the tourney by edging out the host team in three sets (18-16) to earn top honours. Congrats on wrapping the regular season on top!

13U Assegai (Trillium): Hosting their final tournament, the team placed second in their pool after morning matches wrapped. A convincing quarters win was followed by a tough semis loss. The girls regrouped to win a bronze in a three-set thriller (17-15). Congratulations Assegai!
15U Inkemba (Trillium White): A rocky start to the morning turned positive in the afternoon, with the girls reaching the semis but ultimately losing in three (15-13) to Waterloo. Mental and emotional exhaustion got the best of the girls, placing fourth on the day.
15U Ikul (Trillium Green): securing second place in their pool after the morning matches, Ikul faced a tough Vaughan squad in the quarter finals, dropping the match in two. The team rebounded in their final match of the day, winning in two straight to secure 5th place.
15U Shotel (Trillium Green): Topping their pool in the morning, the girls ran into some stiff competition in the quarters, ultimately falling in two sets to Galaxy. In the 5/7 match, Shotel took control and secured 5th after a straight sets victory.
Down in the US, 17U Aquila participated in the 2025 Winter Bash in Grand Rapids. The team went 7-0 on the weekend, dropping only three sets total. Congratulations on a strong showing over the border.
