The following protocols are set in place for the safety and well being of our members and coaches.  Lakeside Volleyball Club respects all guidelines and recommendations published by the Province of Ontario’s various Health Departments as well as the guidelines set by our governing body, the Ontario Volleyball Association.

Below are the protocols all LVC members and coaches must follow before, during and after training sessions at our indoor training facilities:

Oakville Trafalgar Community Center
  • Masks must be worn at all times within the facility.
  • Wearing a mask, enter through the front doors no more than 5 minutes before training.
  • Tell the front desk that you are attending volleyball training in the gym with Lakeside.
  • Sanitize hands before heading into the gym.  There is a sanitizer stationed at or near the front door.
  • Head directly to the gym which is straight ahead from the main doors and on the left side about 100 feet from the main entrance.
  • Bring all of your belonging to the gym.  Change rooms will not be available to use so please come with your training gear on.  You can change your shoes and put your ankle guards on at the gym.
  • Washrooms near the front desk will be available for use.  No more than two people in the washroom at one time.
  • Once training is complete, please exit the facility through the main entrance within 10 minutes of the end of training.  No congregating in hallways, etc.  Coaches will ensure that all kids are looked after until all parents arrive.
Trafalgar Park Community Center
  • Masks must be worn at all times within the facility.
  • Wearing a mask, enter through the front doors (located on the north side of the building) no more than 5 minutes before training.

  • Washrooms are located directly outside of the gym’s main doors.  No more than two people in the washroom at one time.
  • Once training is complete, please exit the facility the “fire exit” door on the east side of the building within 10 minutes of the end of training.  No congregating in hallways, etc.  The staff at TPCC want the flow of traffic to move in one direction so once you head out the east side door, you will turn left to head to the parking lot or turn right to head towards Rebecca St.  Please ensure you arrange a meeting spot with your daughters beforehand.  Coaches will ensure that all kids are looked after until all parents arrive.
QE Park Community Center
  • Masks must be worn at all times within the facility.
  • The coach for each team training at QEPCC will wear a mask to enter the building via the main entrance, go through a quick screening and head to the single gym to open the doors to the gym.
