Q: Do I have to sign up for the entire summer?
A: No. All training programs and leagues are broken down into three separate periods – June, July and August. You can register to play in one, two, or all of those months…whatever works for your schedule. If you sign up for all three, you will be able to take advantage of a discount, but choose the month(s) that work for you.
Q: Do I have to be a current rep player to join the 13/14U or 15/16U training sessions?
A: No. All players of all skill levels are welcome to join any one of our training programs. In fact, our designation of “Academy”, “13/14U” and “15/16U” groups are just a guideline. Regardless of your age, you can join the Academy program if you are just starting out with the game of volleyball. You can jump in with the 13/14U group if you have played school volleyball or one year of rep and want to improve your skills for the upcoming indoor season. You can come train with the 15/16U kids if you have played a couple of years of school or rep, or have been playing another sport and have a tendency to pick up a new sport very quickly.
Q: If I register for a program that is too advanced or not advanced enough for me, am I stuck in that program?
A: No. We will assess all of the kids that train with us during the first session or two and evaluate if an athlete should move to another program that is more suited to their current skill level. We don’t want anyone to feel like they are not getting the proper training from our programs, so we will make sure that we evaluate and connect with those we believe should move to another training group within our program.
Q: Can I register a team for the 6v6 league?
A: Yes. On the Grass Court information page, there is a link for signing up as a team for the league you want to participate in. All we ask is that one (1) parent add their information to the registration form so that we can have an adult as a point of contact for the group. If you would prefer to sign up as an individual and be placed on a team instead, there is a link for that as well.
Q: I am not happy with the program that I signed up for and do not wish to continue. Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are only offered to those that withdraw from a program prior to the first session. Any participant that starts a program and wishes to discontinue participating will not be eligible for a refund. However, we are more than willing to work with you to find another program that suits your needs and reallocate your funds to that program. Please refer to our Refund Policy which can be found under the Resources tab at the top of the page.
