Six Lakeside teams took to the courts over the weekend to participate in the OVA McGregor Cup (15U) and OVA Furlani Cup (18U). Teams drove far and wide for these tournaments, spanning from Niagara to Chatham to Owen Sound and everywhere in between.
It was an up and down weekend for the club as a whole, but congratulations are in order for the 18U Upanga who placed 2nd in their Trillium tournament. Congrats are also in order for the 15U Shujaa who persevered through some long, tough matches to take 3rd place at their Trillium White event.
As we approach the Family Day weekend, five of our teams head southwest to Detroit for the Presidents’ Day Classic before getting back to OVA action over the weekend of Feb 24/25. 🏐
