Congratulations to our 17U Aquila team for securing a top 16 place (Division 1 Tier 1) for the 2025 Ontario Championships! The team has battled hard throughout the season to rise through the divisions after being placed in Trillium for their first tournament. The girls faced the challenge of having to be perfect in their first two tournaments to give themselves the chance to play in Select and earn the opportunity to compete at the Division 1 level. Our players rose to this challenge with enthusiasm and grit, fighting their way to a 15 – 4 record for the regular OVA season.
The real testament to Aquila’s success is their status as the only team to secure a Div 1 Tier 1, Top 16 placement after starting in Trillium across all female age groups in the OVA. We are so incredibly proud of this team for taking the hard path and earning every step up through the divisions they achieved. Aquila look forward to bringing their unique style of energy and compete to the Ontario Championship’s stage. Bala Bala!
